Sad Day: Kitty 2
We lost Kitty 2 today.
We’re not sure exactly what happened, but the vet says she may have swallowed something and it went through her abdomen. She was in a lot of pain, and our choices were to put her to sleep, or go through a really expensive surgery that may not work at all. So we didn’t really have a choice.
It’s really hard, and Lyndsay and I are really sad. It’s going to be weird not laughing at the sound of her footsteps on our wood floor before she jumps up on our bed. And it’s maybe even going to be sad not having her wake us up every morning between 4:30 and 5:30 to go outside.
We’ll miss Kitty 2. We already do.
