We Grow Things
Since Lyndsay and I moved up to Calvin Crest, we haven’t had much luck in the way of agriculture. My grandmother gave us several plants right before the winter, and we killed them all. Not on purpose (I just had this vision of Lyndsay and I wringing the necks of helpless little flowers with our bare hands), the frost got us, and we didn’t really know what we were doing. For the longest time, the only thing kept alive was a little cacti Lyndsay’s mom gave us when we moved in. Then the cat knocked it over.
But now our thumbs are so green, you might mistake us for Mr. and Mrs. Incredible Hulk. But maybe only the thumb parts of Mr. and Mrs. Incredible Hulk. Anyway, we’ve got five herbs, a thriving cherry tomato plant, and several flower-type things that have yet to die on us. We are very proud.
