Hello, and welcome to the PiñaBlog. My name is Cory, and I’ll be your host. Over the last few weeks much has taken place.
- Rooms in our home have turned different colors.
- We have downgraded from two cats to one.
- I had a birthday.
- I’ve learned to play Cities and Knights of Catan, which is like Settlers of Catan on lysergic acid diethylamide.
- It started being a different year.
- I am the new Interim Youth Director at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Modesto, California.
Someone asked me if I feel like I keep getting pulled back into ministry. The answer is yes, but it’s not such a bad thing to be pulled into. Some of you are laughing because I swore I would never do this. Some of you are youth, and you’re saying, “why wouldn’t you want to do this?” Don’t worry. It’s not you. It’s me. I have issues.
I’m glad to be doing what I’m doing, and anxious to meet students and love them until they throw up from being over-loved. And we will clean it up together. Because such is the body of Christ.
