True Story
Some hard workers from Charter Digital Cable are in front of our house this morning. They’ve accomplished the following:
Dug a hole in our lawn
Piled dirt up in our driveway
Stood around and laughed
Gambled

When I visit school campuses I take pizza with me (which is the only logical method of student visitation). I’ve thought about creating a documentary about the effects of pizza on the teenage psyche, primarily through visual stimulation.
When I enter campus I hear various exclamations around me:
“Hey, lemma get some!”
“Hey, can I have a piece?”
“Hey, [...]
“Today” is Monday. Lyndsay pointed out that the Modesto Bee didn’t include the weather for Tuesday. My theories:
They goofed up.
There will be *no* weather tomorrow. No rain. No sun. Nothing.
The Modesto Bee has obtained information regarding the end of the world, and is attempting to send us secret messages through the Weather page.
When I read the headline, I was really hoping they were going to give me as many movies as I wanted, and all I had to tell them was “I’m on vacation.”
Then I realized they were talking about their employees. Still pretty cool.
“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
My friend Travis lives in Arizona. They were going to come visit us next weekend, but then he wrote me to say they were coming earlier. I thought nothing of it, until I found out that the former Governor of Arizona confirmed the UFO sightings of 1997.

I realized yesterday why Wednesday is the hardest day here. I don’t think it’s because I show up early and go home late. I think it’s because it’s the day we really do Church.
