To Our Great Relief

Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron “will present undeniable scientific proof that God exists” in a debate against two atheists.

“Most people equate atheism with intellectualism,” explained Comfort in a statement, “but it’s actually an intellectual embarrassment. I am amazed at how many people think that God’s existence is a matter of faith. It’s not, and I will prove it at the debate – once and for all. This is not a joke. I will present undeniable scientific proof that God exists.”

I, for one, will be glad when we can settle this whole thing once and for all.

I am really interested to hear how they try to approach this…

Sounds a bit too much like Christian Heritage for me…

The most disturbing part of the article was this:

“Comfort has spoken at several atheist events, one in which he was a platform speaker at the 2001 convention for the American Atheists, Inc.”

If this is what the atheists are encountering, it’s no wonder that there’s a resurgence in atheism.

A resurgence in atheism?

Cameron should stick to movies, wait, no, television, wait, no… Maybe this is a good vehicle for him.

The article also mentioned how Comfort was astounded by the rise in atheism today and wonders why less people are interested in Christianity…maybe it has something to do with what he’s doing…?
