Saké May Fuel Cars

Japanese motorists may one day pump their cars full of saké, the fermented rice wine that is Japan’s national drink, if a pilot project to create sake fuel is a hit with locals…

If this makes it big, I’ll be expecting some California rolls as I fill up.

I’d like some sake. And some sushi. And I guess some fuel. Sushi, though. Ah, there was a day when I walked out my office door, walked a block and a half down Omotesando Dori to a keiten sushi shop and filled myself up for lunch. I guess I’ve wandered off topic, though.

A thimble full of sake cost 2.50. How much will a gallon of sake cost and an Ozzy roll? And will this raise the price of cold Sake?
