I asked a small girl at the day care what her name was.
“Elena.”
Just to be sure, I wrote it out: E-l-e-n-a. “Like that?”
“No,” she said. She took my pen. “Like this:”
E-L-E-N-A.
My mistake: the volume was down.

I don’t know… I haven’t really been paying attention.
