Catching Up On Some Dave Barry

From the Classic Dave Barry Calendar for Saturday June 23, and in tribute to the boys with whom I shared a tent at the top of a play fort next to a loud parrot and screaming children in the middle of Mexico:

If your family goes camping, you will need a tent. Tent sizes are measured in units of men, as in “a three-man tent,” a “four-man tent,” etc.; this tells you how many men are required to erect the tent if they are all professional tent engineers equipped with Tent Viagra. Even then, the tent will collapse under unusual weather conditions, such as rain or nightfall. You will also need a hatchet for the spiders and a credit card for the motel.
