LifeFaith

Two words. One concept.

He Is Risen

In a few moments we will attend our Easter morning worship service which will culminate with the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus. I will eventually run out of breath and begin to mouth my words until I lose my place and forget where we are. I will glance back to the hymnal, but it will [...]

Taking A Seat

“I recently heard a man, while explaining how a person could convert to Christianity, say the experience was not unlike deciding to sit in a chair. He said that while a person can have faith that a chair will hold him, it is not until he sits in the chair that he has acted on [...]

Overheard On The Radio Today

“Just remember, kids: Religions are like lampshades. They might all look different, but they all have the light of God on the inside.”
OK, but I’ll bet that some of them are working with a lower wattage than others.

and do immediately pass into glory; and their bodies, being still united
to Christ, do [...]

God Still Loves Us

Floating around the web I saw this little ad that just said “God Still Loves Us.”
It took me to godstilllovesus.org, and after a few minutes of research I’ve concluded that I’m not sure what it’s for. You can post pictures with the site’s logo. There are forums asking you what the phrase “God Still [...]

Sponsored Infidelity

Some “Sponsored Links” on MySpace tell me I can “Date Lonely Housewives” or “Meet Hot Wives Instantly.”
They also seem to assume that I am a “Total Schmuck.”
Is it just the 26 year olds to whom they promote marital infidelity, or do my high school students see the same ads?
