21 Weeks


Hey, At Least It’s Not A Cat

Friday was Lyndsay’s latest doctor’s appointment. After a little shaking and prodding and scanning, we discovered it’s a boy!
Yay!
Today — Lyndsay’s birthday — we went to Womb With A View (ha!), where they do some intense 3D imaging and sonogramming and ultrasounding and play soothing music and, we discovered it’s a girl!
Yay!

Elfed

I’ve seen a lot of these “Elf Yourself” movies, where you can put your face on some dancing elf bodies. My brother-in-law sent me this one, which is by far my favorite. Because it has my cats. Also: check out Lyndsay’s move right at the end.

164 Beats Per Minute

Ladies and gentlemen… my unborn child:

Lyndsay is 9 weeks pregnant. As of today, the little one is 2.61 cm long, has a heart rate of 164 beats per minute, and is due to pop out on July 7, 2008. This is the beginning of millions of photographs.

Cast Iron Chefs

When Lyndsay and I got married we were given a set of cast iron skillets. I finally got around to seasoning them (didn’t know “seasoning” was required), so now I am cooking quesadillas like a crazy person.
I can’t tell you how good it feels to finally be using these skillets.
